Three good reasons to paint your kitchen cabinets

Even if you like your kitchen the way it is, you've probably at least once thought to yourself, "maybe I should paint my cabinets". Perhaps your like me, and the thought disappears pretty quickly. Or maybe you're like my mother who hasn't stopped thinking about for the past four years. Either way, here is a quick list of my three best reasons to go ahead with that paint job:
Painting your cabinets is a fast and affordable way to give your kitchen a new look. Replacing the cabinets in your kitchen can easily cost you $10,000 or more. Hiring a professional painter who knows what they're doing can run you thousands of dollars less.
Painted cabinets are "in". When my parents were young they dreamed of a large kitchen with tons of dark cherry wood cabinets. Now... not so much - especially if you have hardwood floors, or if you have LVP that looks like wood. Give your eyes a break from all of that wood grain!
Bold colors are definitely the trend nowadays - from rich blacks, to navy blue and organic green. You can make your kitchen whatever you want it to be!
Whatever you decide to do, of course I recommend you do it right. If you do it yourself, take the time to learn the proper steps. Painting cabinets is not an easy job, and if you skip a step you'd wish you never had that crazy of idea of tackling it yourself. If you hire a pro, like Fast Line Contracting, we'll walk you through the process and explain how we paint cabinets, and why we do it that way.
